@MoorgateMermaid Yet SW publicly admit poor value for money for years…..and do little to nothing to correct. Just refuse to seriously tackle the problem and hide!

All regarding one member I just spoke with!

1. SW acknowledged taking excessive fees.
2. Also apologized for providing incorrect investment values.
3. Company accepts key documents are lost.
4. Paid an apology sum that’s a small fraction of the Ombudsman Recommendations.
5. Took 9 months to reply to a basic enquiry.
6. There will be more!!

Wow! Be alert when managing and monitoring your pension or inheritance.

Ombudsman’s rule - delay of weeks/months justifies £301-£750.

After 9 month delay Scottish Widows pay £150, and say if you don’t like it go to the Ombudsman! Imagine if that approach was made when paying out a pension. Oh….I have detected that too!

£100,000 discrepancy on Scottish Widows pension value and company refuses to look at calculations, produce their own or even have a discussion. Going on for 18 months! They have no shame.
