I just shipped docker-magento 53.0.0. Notable updates:
- pinned version support
- Docker Compose override files that persist upgrades
- MageOS 3 is now the default (π·)
- Xdebug dedicated container
- all issues and PRs have been resolved, merged & closed
@HustleAudit@jayclouse Testing out some local models right now. I actually think it's really close. Anthropic punted their userbase by banning "claude -p" usage in their subs. Open source models getting good....
First thing I did is add a shortcut for newlines, since Ctrl+J is so unintuitive.
Glad I have a ZSA Moonlander, quick fix as Codex doesn't provide the ability to override keyboard shortcuts.
My layout is at https://t.co/OxWiIJ7x6C and has evolved over the last ~5 years.
I'm not sure how Anthropic burned bridges with devs so fast, but just booted up Codex and even though I don't have an active sub yet, it fixed my first issue.
Giving it a whirl!
I think this is consensus now, especially after Anthropic punted "claude -p" usage.
Excited to try this out, as Codex seems to have taken away the coding reigns due to botched DevRel.
In your custom module, just use the Table attribute with the "extends" property and define your columns.
You then have access to companion() and attachCompanion() methods to load the data (which works similarly to extension attributes in Magento, but far simpler).
Marko 0.6.0 was just released with a very cool update:
The ability to extend any existing database table with a simple PHP attribute.
You can see the full release on github by checking out the repo: marko-php/marko
@PovilasKorop Cascade as it defines a contract that MUST be followed. Code that reacts to things is brittle, but business logic defined on the db is π
@mikekarnj Funny enough, I didn't even read the description and that it added "for lawyers and legal workflows", it must have hallucinated that from the "law" in the name π
It's fully vibe-coded, didn't code up any of it, but did make sure it's secure with secrets as well.
@mikekarnj I made one myself that runs on my mac, very minimal with a file vault and native Mac/nix scheduler. I haven't released it due to fear of it catching on and Anthropic banning it. The future is in bespoke software.
