@Thomas23353301@ARP4Freedom@intelligentpawg In the real world, sometimes there are positive thing for people and sometimes there are negative things for people. That’s just how the real world works. For everyone.
@scdlcaramia@PostsOfGod I completely agree that people who can make good cakes at home have no reason to ever buy a cake at Costco or anywhere else. I was talking about the other 99+% of the population.
@Thomas23353301@ARP4Freedom@intelligentpawg I understood what you were explaining. If it is truly a negative thing then values will drop and rents will drop and all those people can move back. In the real world that rarely happens (aside from generational shifts that always change neighborhoods over long periods of time).
@JamieWhistle Not only that, but the lifeguards get paid the highest hourly wage compared to all the other temporary staff. More than the folks who work in the gym. More than the camp counselors. More than working checkout at the supermarket. Etc.
@igorhansachat What does Germany have to do with it? In every country in the world, you have to take care of your children when they are home from kindergarten regardless of cause. Vacations. Sickness. Etc.
@haivri Wow! I’m right across the street in Wolfson very high up and can almost see that spot from the balcony. And there was tons of traffic on Ben Zvi all day. Maybe the photo was perfectly timed as a traffic light turned red. Kol hakavod.
@SethBorman@ShannonJean It doesn’t create a single house but it creates plenty of senior housing apartments due to the increased demand by seniors moving out of single family homes.
@The3rdReginald@BoomerDivvies@Hawkmo0n I do similar. But instead of just waiting for the buy zone, I sell puts at the level I want to buy. That way I get to pay slightly less if it hits. And if it doesn’t hit? At least I get a consolation prize and can keep the premium I received.
@99_Colorado@JoNationLive Well each day when it happens, you need to report the problem to Tesla. And they will eventually fix it. Years ago I had to report a new double diamond interchange a few times and they fixed it a few weeks later.
