Normally he's very reliable, elite face off guy and 50-60 pts. is automatic.

My point was, if he is getting paid $5 million, it's not the end of the world.

He was on pace for 70 points last year before the injury. He will count the same % of the cap as Coyle did. He's overpaid by about $2 million per year. if he stays healthy, he will be fine.

You don't have to have a top five player to win a cup. You need defense in goal tending just as much.

Edmonton has had two of the best players in the world and what have they won? Just because you have talent, it doesn't mean you win cups.

And with the cap going up crazy five million is the new average player.
