@HULK821017@CMDA_Official@TRBRajaa@mkstalin@Udhaystalin again try to learn how govt works before barking at the wrong tree. CMDA is mostly a planning org which cannot execute massive projects that it plans. while CMRL is a developmental execution organization which does not have capacity to plan city wide future strategy.
@UpdatesChennai@preshant_sekar@ChennaiREUpdate@CMDA_Official are you dumb? take the rule book and see how the FSI rule is made. CMDA can only recommend which they have already done for 6.5+ FSI in the 3rd master plan. only the state government can now make the rule change through the housing and urban development department. please think.
@UpdatesChennai@CMDA_Official@PKSekarbabu how many times will you post this debunked disinformation? CMDA does not have the mandate to increase FSI. only the state government through the housing and urban development department can do it. CMDA has already recommended 6.5+ FSI. Please learn how the government works.
@TheVenks@CMDA_Official no that is not how it works. They have deliverables and they prepared the draft and delivered. what happens next is not their responsibility. It should be cleared by other organization that are superior in hierarchy. please learn how government works.
@UpdatesChennai@CMDA_Official@TRBRajaa@Guidance_TN@TIDCO_1965 please learn how things work before you speak. CMDA is not a unilateral authority that can increase FSI on its own. FSI are governed by Chennai 2nd master plan. The 3rd master plan has huge increase in FSI and waiting for approval from govt. ask them when it will be approved?

@UpdatesChennai@CMDA_Official you call yourself as a up-to date knowledge of chennai yet you do not know about how the city administration functions. CMDA is in the process of finalizing consultation for the 3rd master plan. without that they cannot do any of the reforms you are suggesting.
@cvkrishnan why is anyone pressed and about this ? like this is a AI summit not a robotic summit. maybe the AI company wanted ready made robots to demo their products and went to get the quick ready made product in the market. what is wrong about that?
@streetfrontier@Indianinfoguide both are wrong. service sector is moving more and more into tier 2/3 cities and the share of Hyderabad/ Bangalore is decreasing.
@Srinivas_091294@UpdatesChennai do you not know that the 3rd chennai master plan which rises the FSI upto 6.5 is some cases is currently under consultation. once all the process is done it will be adopted and become law. what do you want to do? the skip the process and wish it into law?

@Bodybalram So now it is basically a confirmed fact that the Chennai region has crossed 100 billion USD in GDP a year or two ago. Moving from this to 150 billion will be the most important phase after which consolidation effect and then compounding effect will do rest of the job.
@RahulChels@UpdatesChennai pune is a dust compared to Chennai. Chennai and its suburbs will probably form the largest continuous urban zone in the country after NCR in a decade.
@cvkrishnan@praveensinfo17 it will take 10 more years for coimbatore, Kochi to become major metro cities for these two to be considered as important as pune.
