Another giant part of my childhood has gone. I said when Bobby passed, that I always was a fan of Dennis even more somehow. I just loved to watch him play & in the shadow of Bobby, Dennis still was a 5x all-star. He even had a 90 pt season right after Bobby left for the WHA.

I got to broadcast quite a few of his games over the years. Several for him and also many against his teams in my 20 years for Lewis U., since we played St. Francis every winter. Just the best to deal with and a joy to watch his teams play.

Bill Petersen was my soph coach at Naperville North. He was vital to me. I moved in from Palatine just after cuts had been made. He saw I was 6'2" w size 12 feet & added me anyway saying he needed my 4.0 gpa lol. It saved my sanity to 'belong' being new. So grateful for him still
