@robert_nemeth It's a lovely notion, but I'd also be concerned about anyone with bee sting allergies. I have also seen other concerns raised. Not sure compulsory implementation of bee bricks is the best approach.

@TonyJMod1 @EmmaRaducanews @biffie74 @PhelpsieSarah I believe Emma's point is that the advice often is about suggesting a curfew on women - "don't walk alone at night". An argument could be made that women are less likely to commit such an offence so it is men that need to be curfewed.

All face-to-face classroom teaching and assessment across our three UK campuses is suspended from Tuesday 17 March. Our libraries and other main facilities will remain open. Building on existing practice, we will move to being online only for teaching and assessment by 23 March.

Finally got around to putting a showreel together for the games made during last month's Global Game Jam. Participants had to build a game to the theme of 'Repair' in just 48 hours. It was a great laugh!

Completed the final taught element of my masters in Software Engineering, gaining another two Distinctions.

@PenelopeHindle In the main I'd expect nominees for awards to have free entry. Like you say, +1s pay tickets, but they can also make money on the bar. If I felt strongly about it then I probably wouldn't attend...so depends on the award.

@Davidlanglands @HotpointUK Worrying! Our dryer didn't set alight but was in the recall. They SOLD us a replacement and it broke 54 weeks later (outside the 12m warranty). Still, at least no fire! We no longer use hotpoint, indescit, whirlpool for any of our machines.

@spottedorange07 @SunderlandUK @BackontheMapLtd I think what they're saying is they have replaced the boards with ones that have door and window prints on them so they look more appealing than plain piece of plywood.
