Overnight Severe Potential!

The storms we are watching are over 200 miles away right now and with their current pace, they will most likely arrive between 11pm and 3 am.

The biggest threat is straight-line winds and heavy rainfall.

Confidence continues to increase that strong to severe storms will impact the region Tuesday afternoon and evening as a potent line of storms sweeps across Kentucky. An Enhanced Risk (Level 3 of 5) is already in place for parts of the state.

The primary threats include damaging winds, isolated tornadoes, torrential rainfall, and frequent lightning.

We’ll continue to fine-tune the timing and overall threat over the next 48 hours.

Our second stop in Kentucky. We were told that Kentucky is all about horse racing, so we went to Keeneland Racecourse and visited some of the horses. They sell for insane prices. It’s a sport we didn’t know anything about, but after talking to the people who showed us around and hearing how crazy it gets on race days, we decided we have to come back for a race here.🐎
