@imTravisDrake @coachcullen411 You have to set the pace of instruction, and be ok with not everyone finishing it. Especially for the slacker or habitually late student. My bell ringers are an extension to what I am teaching, not a major part of the class period. What do you do instead?

@mskb26 I always tell my students, tomorrow is another day. I hit the reset button and give them a fresh start to be there best.

@schug_dennis I try and "milk" every minute with my students. If I finish a lesson early, that's a great time for relationship building.

A3: To integrate positive expectations, I personally like to celebrate the small things. I try to catch my students doing the right thing. Just the other day, a student who is often late came to class before the bell. I’m sure everyone could hear my excitement! #Satchat
