@Psephizo@johnmilbank3@holydisrupter Not to be Pelagian is to believe that God's offer of grace cannot be received without God's grace. Not to be universalist is to believe that God's grace may not be sufficient.
@johnmilbank3 I agree, in the literal sense, and when Scripture speaks of God's plans, it's like when it speaks of God's arm or smell. The overuse of God's "plans" makes me wonder whether people understand this.
@kayaburgess What's more jaw-dropping is that the survey results were not questioned by YouGov or the Bible Society from the start, when to anyone with O level maths and some awareness of church attendance they were clearly flawed.
@ArchdeaconLuke "94% of claims were under this amount" but not 94% of projects. Restoration projects are paid for in stages, recouping VAT as they progress, helping with cash flow. Just as well £400k phase 1 @StMarysNantwich is due for completion by end March. Phase 2 now has £42k more to raise.
Bank Holiday fun at St Mary's Nantwich! For one morning only, come and slide down our Easter Shroud. Note: you need to be small enough to climb through the hole at the top.
