@PhilBlundell@Robbie_OR Well, he’s going so it matters little to his personal game. Maybe a selfish dig at Slot OR he is genuinely worried about future direction. It’s only the last few games i’ve wanted to see Slot go and it’s mainly because they are getting days off and they can’t defend set pieces.
@PhilBlundell@Robbie_OR He did fit into it and into the ultimate gegen pressing team. He didn’t do as much as everyone else but lest not forget that there are piano carriers and piano players. We’ve got too many lads who think they can play the piano better than they actually can.
@LewisSteele_@Mobyhaque1 A bigger issue for me is Ekitike in and out of possesion. Not once has he taken a ball down to alleviate pressure and let an attack build. All just flicks and out of possesion he’s a disaster.
@robbohuyton Dunno about you but the worst thing is it’s a bit meh. Reason being is the work ethic of the players deserve nothing more. When Salah and Ekitike missed their chances you knew they would give up an easy one. When that goes in, you knew they would just give up. Shambolic
@MikeTheRedLFC@TheAnfieldWrap Enjoy the trip. Give it your all and hopefully these gang of pricks can bring it back to Anfield still in the tie. Not optimistic but come Tuesday we’ll think. Just maybe!!
@JamesPearceLFC No one minds losing if you put your heart and soul into it. The lack of effort, nous, leadership and will to stay in the fight after it goes 1 nil is disgraceful. Nothing short of disgraceful!
Great @TheAnfieldWrap Pod with Martin Fitzgerald and @Knox_Harrington about the new JFK book. Living in California and preordered The Umbrella Man at Barnes and Noble. https://t.co/h98heFIHLD
Cheers for the heads up!!
