Some delivery drivers do take care and time to wait for you to answer the door and make sure parcels are left in a suitable safe place, but some just drop and run and don’t care about leaving items in the rain or snow or even where a passer by can just pick it up.

I wish @AmazonUK would sort out their delivery companies I’m fed up of having parcels left outside in the rain when there is an enclosed porch to leave them in which is always open. Latest one was tonight, an expensive electrical item left outside in the rain.
