I’m a software engineer who spends way too much time thinking about markets.
I like taking trading ideas that sound good, building a way to test them, and seeing what actually holds up.
Sometimes that turns into a backtest. Sometimes a scanner. Sometimes a tool. Sometimes I just learn something interesting and write it down.
I’m going to share the useful stuff here.
No pretending I have the market figured out. I’m just curious, I like building things, and I’d rather test an idea than argue about it.
Welcome to Market Lab.
AI agents are about to start spending money on our behalf - Meta's Muse already checks out through Stripe's Link wallet, and a group of major banks (NatWest, Bank of America, ING, Capital One) just warned about the fraud risk. So who verifies that the agent is legit? Two names I've been reading up on:
$MITK - identity verification and check-fraud defense for banks. Its fraud consortium already covers ~70% of U.S. checking accounts, a data moat that could extend to agent-driven fraud.
$AKAM - bot management and API security that sits between the agent and the merchant. Its job is telling good automated traffic from bad, which is the whole ballgame once agents shop for us.
Neither is a pure "agentic commerce" play yet - no public pure play exists. Curious what others are watching in this space.
$BUCKET currently has a market cap of ~$2.6M.
What interests me:
• 2,528 on-chain holders
• ~61K indexed transfers
• ~$126K in cumulative revenue tracked by DeFiLlama
• A mechanism that converts fees into tokenized assets distributed to holders
• A launchpad enabling new tokens to utilize this distribution infrastructure
If the ecosystem truly gains momentum, a $100M market cap becomes a valuation target to watch not just a figure pulled out of thin air.
🪣 BUCKET is building the distribution layer.

Painful stock to hold, hard to trade from low premiums. I rotated my money from $SOFI into $HOOD awhile back. On paper the stock should be trading higher.
$SOFI is the strangest chart in fintech: record revenue (+40%), record members (15.8M), record originations, first bank live on stablecoin settlement with Mastercard - and the stock is still ~50% off its Nov high because Wall St wants margin expansion and Noto keeps choosing growth.
$SOFI was bought in 2025 as a rate-cut play, but the Fed just delivered its first hike since 2023 with more likely coming - and while that's ugly for the multiple, Noto already guided for two hikes and the bank charter earns the spread either way.
