The sooner you start the sooner you make mistakes
The sooner you make mistakes the sooner you fix your mistakes
The sooner you fix your mistakes, the better you get
The better you get, the more money you’ll make
Mental side of trading outweighs the technical side by 10x
Take control of your actions:
- Control leverage
- Control trades taken
I’ve found that sizing down is the #1 method in having full CONTROL of your trading.
What’s your why???
I just do it all so everyone who said I couldn’t do it now has to see my face everywhere watching me winning.
Fuck the money that’s the best!
Everyone knows how to trade when the market goes straight up. Now we are getting a pullback crickets across the board. Trading is all about being able to adapt and react, if you can't adapt to ever changing market conditions you will get eaten alive.
Well said, I was the same way. I didn't believe in props firms a few years ago and now I barely trade anything else.
Now it's time to cue all the "prop firms are awesome" tweets because Umar co-signed 🤣
My trading changed when I stopped manually intervening with my positions.
Just let the stop orders do what they were meant to do.
When you market exit a position which you think wont work anymore, thats your emotions trading.
Not your edge.
I used to to this a lot
and often times the exact moment I exit,
price reverses and shoots straight to TP.
Its fascinating really because it shows the psychological nature of the markets.
Price taking you to your breaking point, then finally delivering.
I know we've all been there.
So to combat this,
let your STOP and LIMIT orders do their JOB,
Its why you put them there in the first place.
Trading will expose every character flaw you have.
Greed? You'll blow up.
Fear? You'll miss everything.
Impatience? You'll overtrade.
Ego? The market will humble you.
This game doesn't build character. It reveals it.
Unless you’re consistently making double you’re current job income per month trading.
Don’t quit your job.
Trading is easier when you don’t rely on it.
You don’t need 10 screens.
You don’t need 100 indicators.
You need patience, risk control, and one setup that works.
Most traders won’t make it that far.
