Did you know that glass can glow? When glass is coloured with uranium oxide, it turns green when exposed to ultraviolet light. Uranium was first used to colour glass in the 1830s. This candy bowl from the 1960s glows under blacklight. #throwbackthursday #vaselineglass #glassware
