Day 31 of begging @DONJAZZY to show love to my mum. Please help me with some finances to take care of her.

She has stroke pls 😭😭

I'm the one taking care of her since 2024, the burden is not an easy one. She has a serious BP and diabetes challenge. I take her to physiotherapy twice a month, transportation fare is one big expense for me.

Mummy has been at home for the past weeks now without treatment, and I fear for her life. I fear she might develop kidney problems cos she has uncontrolled sugar and BP challenges. Please help me take mummy back to the hospital to complete her tests, help me provide the necessary medication for mummy.

What we need:

1. A wheelchair to aid hospital visitations. 150k

2. A budget for the monthly purchase of her BP and sugar drugs 800k. This consists of blood tablets, sleeping tablets cos she finds it difficult to sleep at times, and pain relief. This is my rough estimate please cos these expenses happen without planning. This budget will help me provide her medication throughout a period of 6 months at least.

3. Rehire: She has brain damage so I hired a mobility and speech therapist who no longer visits us because of payment. I will need to rehire again. They bargained 12k per session and physiotherapy for stroke is usually recommended to happen at least 3 times per week.
...hence 12k × 3 = 36k per week = 144k per month.

4. Food and transportation to the hospital (check ups) 500k. I have a special pot for her meals. Strictly for stroke patients. I buy her just fish no meat, I make akara and moi moi for her cos of protein. I buy her fruits almost every afternoon, I also buy one zero sugar milk meant for stroke patients and I use the milk to do her coffee. Coffee is made from herbs and Coco powder. I don't feed her garri only wheat.

Total= 2,314,000

I have no car so to take her to the hospital and back on each visit costs me plenty of money. Additionally, people recommended that she does more physio hence the need to hire home service.

I have been trying my best plzzzz I need some respite. I don't earn so much from my job, I desperately need support to continue looking after her. I barely sleep lately bcos of this challenge, If I look at my savings I just feel like giving up, the stress is much😞

Please I don't want her to die, I just can't give up now 😞🙏🙏🙏

I survived a kidnap attempt on my way to Lagos from Ibadan along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway — around Ajebo, Ogun State.

At about 7:30pm, one of them suddenly jumped out from the bush carrying two heavy objects, trying to force my car to stop.

He threw the first object directly in front of my car while I was negotiating a slight bend. I managed to swerve around it, then he threw the second one. Before the others could position themselves, I brushed the main guy that attacked with my car and sped off.

Thankfully, I escaped alive, but my bonnet, bumper, headlamps, and fender were badly damaged.
