@DomTechnostate Its either know someone or apply to hundreds of places on linkedin/indeed. It's generally a terrible job market though.
Lie on your resume as much as you can. Not lying about what job you had but lying about what you did to expand your skill set
@VGC_News Typical American politics. Unable to enact change without bribing politicians. They won't give their support for anything without yacht included
@benshapiro You realize that this just shows how incredibly parasitic and deranged it makes landlords look that they would rather burn shelter down than keep it at the current price?
@caramelcolored Take time if you need it. Social media rots the brain. What is happening in Sudan and Palestine is a tragedy. I think as long as you take time to stay informed and help that is plenty, you don't have to subject yourself to viewing gore multiple times a day to support them
@SwampCommunist@Asbestosdealer1 Literally how does this make sense. What specific relation to property changes when you switch from teaching middle school to a college course?
@SwampCommunist One group having less potential for revolution does not mean they are no longer proletariat. What are these random criteria you are making out of thin air? Use the marxist basis for class not whatever you think is relevant to revolution
These posts are pushing modern capitalist ideas of class onto marxist theory and it creates some weird amalgamation where some wage laborers are no longer consider workers. It is not productive and does not further any cause or understanding of class conflict. Income /= class.
Professors are not petite-bourgeois. They are wage laborers. This seems like another dumb rehash of if baristas are workers or not. The conditions being 'nicer' doesn't determine the relation of class nor does a high wage.
