Each week, Stoneybrook #kindergarten students head to the forest for play & learning, supported by their educators & @KingsAtWestern volunteers. They take part in a variety of activities—building forts, sculpting clay, creating structures & tapping maple trees for sap!
Thank you to the amazing group of volunteers from King’s University College - and to Ms. Frederick for her leadership - for helping our kindergarten “Forest School” program find such amazing success! @TVDSB
Beautiful day for our first park walk of the year. @UniversityHeig1 Kindergarten adopted the University Park. Check out the program! Next time we'll bring a scale to weigh our garbage! https://t.co/MJAawuPzuS @cityoflondon
Knollwood teachers are pledging to protect public education. Our students deserve better. We hear you and we will be your voice. #ETFOstrong@etfotvtl@KnollwoodPark1
Thank you Children's Optimist Foundation for supporting our Family Wellness Night! Yoga, mindful breathing, sensory crafts, collaborative mandelas, lunchable premade vs homemade challenge and dinner by Denny's! @KnollwoodPark1 @MLSchoolHealth #mentalhealth
I spend waaay too much time setting up obstacle courses for these Kindies. This belly crawl station was much more challenging for my tall SKs. #AWinForTheJKs@KnollwoodPark1
Great turnout at Learning for Breakfast event for Kindergarten & EarlyON families. Kids are excited to try take-home #math and #literacy activities. The family cooking provocation from @MLSchoolHealth made for great math dialogue. Love seeing #parentengagement@KnollwoodPark1

Our snow painting exploration has led to a new student-prompted inquiry. What will happen when we let our snow melt tonight then freeze it again in the freezer. Leading predicted: it will turn to grey slush then the freezer will turn our snow back into it's colouful fluffy shape
