Rereading a Philip Pullman novel that the librarian in elementary school said might be “a bit too much for me” so I bought it at the scholastic book fair to spite her
So yes, I have always been like this
(and no, I didn’t get the references to opium dens, but I got the gist)
@aprilglick@Nationals Hi!
Oddly enough the beat reporters I follow are all over there, they’re just not yet “live tweeting” on that platform. It’s a slow migration.
And just another pregame note: The Lord (Brad Lord, that is) is pitching on Easter
He’ll start Game 2 of the doubleheader for the Nationals

For the record, I'm a strong supporter of Catholic and private schools. But I'm also the product of the public school system (all the way from kindergarten to high school) in Pennsylvania. I would not be who I am without public schools. These schools deserve our support.
Woooof. Somehow this app gets worse with each passing day. Super gross misinformation ads today popping up everywhere. Still on here until I can get more of the folks I follow on other networks, but it’s so icky.

On the 10th day of Christmas my theatre gave to me: 10 days of dry tech,
9 Insta hashtags,
8 grumpy stagehands,
7 weeks of workshops,
6 sleeping spot-ops.
A 5 HOUR SHOW!
4 calling scripts,
3 shows only,
2 frazzled SMs,
for a 1 person show by the A.D.
I will never be over this. An MLB shortstop moonlit as a latin pop star and put on a postgame concert of his hit single after Pride Night to celebrate the team finally being over .500 bc Grimace threw out the first pitch a few weeks before. Imagine explaining this to like Ty Cobb
This is not accurate. There’s no federal funding to build the new stadium in DC.
The bill does not provide funding for a new stadium in D.C. It just transfers jurisdiction of RFK to DC and actually expressly prohibits the use of federal funds for a new stadium.
We really need to do something to be competitive on salaries or we won’t be able to compete.
No, not faculty salaries. Our student athletes are so underpaid. Their NIL deals just aren’t keeping pace with our conference rivals. No wonder we keep losing games!
