Johnny Depp didn’t just voice Rango, he became him. 😂 The weird voice, the mannerisms, the timing… it’s another reminder of just how ridiculously versatile Depp is as an actor. He can disappear into a character whether there’s a camera pointed at him or an animated lizard on screen.

And Rango? What a movie. 🔥

An animated Western about an awkward chameleon somehow became one of the most entertaining, visually stunning, and surprisingly deep animated films out there.

Johnny Depp has played pirates, mad hatters, gangsters, detectives, and absolute weirdos but somehow, a lonely chameleon in the desert is still one of his most unforgettable performances.

How is Rango not talked about more? 🦎🎬
