@PolitlcsUK Will someone ask them about attendance allowance, the equivalent for older people please? I suspect the usual suspects will have never heard of it and won't have formed a coherent policy
@BlokeOnWheels This is something I have been questioning for a long time, people who back in the day would have been on pension now on means tested sickness benefits. Also, clamour on PIP but nothing about attendance allowance which presumably is rising too as the population ages
Critical take from Israel's Foreign Ministry on my column about sexual assaults of Palestinian men, women and children. You can read my piece here through a gift link: https://t.co/SL0oxguNmi
This is a brilliant investigative piece on Farage, the dark millions behind him and the double standards of so much British journalism. Read and retweet! Nigel Farage pocketing £5m from a donor shows he’s unfit for power https://t.co/zHuVfDV8dh
Palestinian academic Bassem Abudagga, studying in York, has not seen his family in Gaza for three years.
Keir Starmer's Home Office has decided that there is "no urgency" to approving a visa for his wife and two young children, who are living in an emergency tent after Israel bombed their home, so they can be reunited.
The Home Office has also decided there's no "sufficiently compelling" reason for his wife to defer attending a visa application centre, even though Israel bombed all the centres.
Imagine this is the Second Word War and a Jewish academic is trying to get his family out of the Warsaw Ghetto, and the British government's response is to play these depraved, time-buying games. We'd be under no illusions about what was going on.
Starmer and his government are simply beneath contempt.
From the ruins of Al-Shifa Hospital, they chose life, knowledge, and resistance.
230 medical students from across Gaza held their graduation, after studying, training, and saving lives amid destruction, loss, and genocide.
This is not just a graduation; it is a declaration that Gaza’s future will be healed by those who refused to give up.
Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.
Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.
Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.
The Reform UK party's former leader in Wales - Nathan Gill - has pleaded guilty to eight counts of bribery relating to pro-Russia statements he made in the European Parliament, as well as newspaper opinion pieces.
Hi @Nigel_Farage and @TiceRichard you’ve been awfully quiet on this story.
Especially considering how good a friend Nathan Gill was of yours…
Ex-Reform politician admits Russia-linked bribery charges

Farage has said Putin is the politician he ‘most admires’. Now the former Reform leader in Wales has admitted taking bribes from the Kremlin to peddle pro-Moscow lies & propaganda.
We simply cannot trust these plastic patriots with our national security.

In Norway 🇳🇴, where melting Arctic ice threatens wildlife survival, scientists and engineers have developed an extraordinary solution: floating ice platforms designed especially for seals.
These seal-friendly pods drift with the ocean currents, providing safe resting and breeding grounds as natural sea ice continues to disappear. Built from biodegradable, non-toxic composites reinforced with natural fibers, the platforms mimic the thermal properties of real ice while staying buoyant and durable for years.
Each platform is equipped with small grooves to prevent slipping and features an insulated core that stays cool under the Arctic sun. Some even integrate smart sensors to monitor seal populations and track environmental conditions, providing researchers with invaluable data without disturbing the animals.
For seal pups, these platforms can mean survival. Instead of being stranded far from safe resting areas, they have a place to nurse, grow, and learn to swim. For adults, the pods reduce the exhausting search for scarce sea ice and protect vital breeding cycles.
Norway’s floating platforms are more than engineering — they are symbols of hope, proving that human innovation can directly support species under threat. In a rapidly changing Arctic, every safe patch of ice could mean the difference between survival and decline.

🚨 This morning we turned the street outside Labour Party Headquarters in London into Jabaliya camp in Gaza.
Listen to Ahmed Masoud talking about what the Israeli army did to his neighourhood and family.
Thank you for watching our @Basement_Films film we thank our Palestinian colleagues for risking their lives to make it, thank you to @Channel4 & @zeteo_news for running it. We apologise to the Doctors & medics we interviewed & those they lost for the disgraceful delay; we wanted it on @BBCNews but they couldn’t and wouldn’t show it. #GazaDoctorsUnderAttack
Send your love to these 2 @jaberphotos Osama Al Ashi and pray they and their families survive
