The law is the law. It does not matter for how long the law has been violated. Article 138(1) & (2) of the Constitution, on the Procedure at presidential election, categorically provides:
(1) If only one candidate for President is nominated, that candidate shall be declared elected.
(2) If two or more candidates for President are nominated, an election shall be held in each constituency.
Voting at elections is conducted as provided under Article 86, which provides:

86. At every election, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries
Commission shall ensure that-

(a) whatever voting method is used, the system is simple, accurate, verifiable, secure, accountable and transparent;

(b) the votes cast are counted, tabulated and the results announced promptly by the presiding officer at each polling station;

(c) the results from the polling stations are openly and accurately collated and promptly announced by the returning officer; and (d) appropriate structures and mechanisms to eliminate electoral malpractice are put in place, including the safekeeping of election materials.

From the law above, there is no way the results for the Presidential elections cannot be announced at the Constituency as required by the Constitution. #ReKe #GetitDone #KnowYourConstitution

We equally want to see the Kenya government take robust measures to avoid cases of Ebola from entering Kenya. That includes declining the request by the US Government to set up an Ebola Treatment Centre in Kenya where Ebola patients from other countries will be flown in.

Since all Ebola patients deserve access to the highest standard of medical care, and we owe them human solidarity even as we protect the healthy population, public health dictates require that the medical treatment facility and treatment isolation protocols be set up near the common epicentre of the infection. That is either in Eastern Congo or Western Uganda.

Last week, some govt persons attacked me Sholla, for questioning why hospitals keep saying there’s no blood while reports claim blood products are being sold abroad.

Now, an NTV report from Tana River is heartbreaking.

A pregnant woman, Dube, developed severe bleeding during labor and was referred to Hola Referral Hospital.

She arrived alive.

But for over 8 HOURS, she reportedly waited because the hospital had NO blood.

She died.

Not because doctors didn’t know what to do.
Not because treatment didn’t exist.
But because there was no blood.

And this is the SAME hospital where another pregnant woman reportedly died after a snake bite because there was no anti-venom.

At what point do we stop calling these “incidents” and admit this is a system failure? And why would some people be exporting blood from Kenya?

Poor Kenyans are dying because basic supplies are missing.

No blood.
No anti-venom.

And now the difficult question:
If a county cannot properly run a referral hospital, should the national government take over?

Because what is happening in Hola is dangerous.

Why is IEBC still refusing to seriously discuss secure full digital voting? I believe we shouldn't be printing even 30,000 ballot papers in the UK.

Because this whole process feels outdated, expensive, and intentionally designed to keep Kenya dependent forever.

France has maintained influence in parts of West Africa for decades through money, resources, and political control.

Many African countries remained poor while their resources enriched others.

And now they come with polished conferences, slogans, and PR campaigns pretending to champion Africa’s future.

Africans are waking up.
That is why many West African countries are pushing back.

Colonialism did not disappear.
It changed clothes.

The reality of May 2026 is that Macron is only in Kenya because he was shown the door elsewhere. Between 2022 and 2024, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger evicted French troops (Operation Barkhane) for prioritizing extraction over security. For decades, the CFA Franc system forced African nations to deposit 50% of their reserves in the French Treasury—a colonial tax in a 21st-century wrapper. France did not “withdraw” from the Sahel; it was defeated by the very African agency it claims to support.

3. The Gaza Hypocrisy
While Macron smiles for cameras in Kenya, he has spent months providing diplomatic cover and support for Israel’s actions in Palestine, even as the Global South demands justice and an end to the occupation. You cannot claim to be a friend of the oppressed in Africa while standing on the wrong side of history in Gaza. True Pan-Africanism is rooted in global liberation, not selective morality.

4. Refusing the Propaganda
The 11 new deals signed here—from the Nairobi railway to fiber optics—are not “gifts”; they are a desperate pivot to East Africa after losing the West. We must not be the PR team that clears his image. I would rather support my African brothers in the Sahel who had the courage to kick him out than sit in a chair and validate a leader who views our continent as his backup plan. Africa needs allies, not supervisors.
