@18airbornecorps RIP CSM. Incredible legacy and impact on multiple generations of Soldiers and Leaders that he led, trained, mentored and befriended along his journey.
Powerful news of Chaplain Emil Kapaun’s remains being accounted for. A hero. Honorable selfless service and sacrifice to save and support his fellow service members. Not Forgotten!

Dr MLK inspired people to treat each other as equals. “An individual has not started living until (they) can rise above the narrow confines of (their) individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.”

Let's close out Marne Birthday weekend with a thread on Lucian Truscott, the most accomplished officer to ever command the 3rd Infantry Division and one of the most celebrated Soldiers in 3ID history.
Today, thank a #veteran. Listen to a story or two. It could really make their day. So many people to your left and right have served our Nation proudly. Today, we honor them and their service. #VeteransDay#USASOC
2020 Army 10-Miler completed today. Far from a PR, but a challenging course that included hills, off road sand trails, and obstacles. 7 teammates and a dependent out on COL Tussing’s course to represent the Army. #ArmyStong
@CG_ArmyROTC@oneminutecall A true example of the Leader, Warrior, tactical and technical Avn expert, trainer, and mentor An honor to serve with Karl and those WOs like him.
Many heroes made the ultimate sacrifice in Mogadishu. MSG Gary Gordon & SFC Randall Shughart sacrificed their own lives knowing the risk when there was no other options. Absolutely above and beyond the call of duty. RIP to all our SMs who gave their lives in BoM, 3 OCT 93.
Nineteen American Soldiers were killed in the Battle of Mogadishu in October 1993. Two of those who made the ultimate sacrifice posthumously received the Medal of Honor for their heroism. Today we commemorate the lives of all of those Americans killed in Operation Gothic Serpent.
Thanks @CsmBlaisdell for sharing your story. Trust is one of the best combat multipliers a leader (at any level) can build within their teams to help prevent suicides or destructive behaviors. No shame in asking for help, and positive impacts of getting help.
As senior leaders we have to be brutally honest with our Soldiers about our past. That starts by telling our stories. We were them once, we just didn’t talk about it. Times have changed, it’s ok to get help. There’s nothing shameful about it. One death by suicide is one to many!
