The outcome of the parliamentary and senatorial by-elections paints a clear picture of the prevailing political landscape in Kenya.
Across the ten contests held in different parts of the country at different times, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) secured six seats, reaffirming its position as the country's leading political party and demonstrating sustained public confidence in its leadership, policies and development agenda, steered by H.E President William Ruto.
At the same time, the results underscore the strength and maturity of Kenya's democracy. The ability of different political parties to compete freely, campaign openly and secure victories in their respective strongholds demonstrates a democratic system that continues to grow and deepen.
Importantly, these outcomes also highlight the significance of the Broad-Based Government arrangement, which has brought together leaders and parties committed to national stability, unity and development. Combined, UDA and ODM; our partners in the Broad-Based Government, account for nine of the ten seats contested, representing 90 per cent of the by-election victories.
@lynn_ngugi1 Nope its a few hundred kikuyus not millions of Kenyans. I doubt a small percentage of a squatter population has anything on this president..
@lynn_ngugi1 Not people shall....kikuyus shall. You should be worried about a less than 40k turnout in a purpoted 73k vote constituency even after bringing the sick to vote ...lending credence to the fact that your numbers are fictitious. You fell right into a trap, a census of sorts..
@Naomikibandi You should be dead worried coz even after carrying the sick to vote, hitting 40k won't be achieved...fictitious numbers being unpacked...your goose is cooked
@BabaAdrielle@WakiliEdward@WilliamsRuto You should be worrying about the turnout even after carrying the sick to vote....you were being counted, and you fell right on that trap
@Maryian96 Yet you still polled less than 40 k votes after everyone turned up...in a constituency of 73k😁😁 kikuyus are indeed a foolish lot. You're being counted and you fell right into that trap
@rose_gakuo It's a wonderful feeling to see the kikuyus doing the same things luos did for 50 years...its your turn to bleed and howl...other tribes don't care! Fictitious numbers will not work next year..THERE'S NO COMING BACK TO POWER!
@MachariaNjeru Well you'll find out next year when your real figures are unveiled through strict biometrics the era of fake numbers to sanitize electoral fraud and influence resource allocation is over. Other tribes will rotate this presidency for a 100 years. Mtakua tu taxpayers
@paulinenjoroge The only consequence is on DP Kiindiki. We knew you won't be electing a UDA candidate neither will you vote for Ruto next year. The biggest headache for you is the turnover, you're real numbers are being counted while you celebrate nonsense, 73000 perceived registered voters...
