Teranode is live. The source code is public. The testnet is running. And suddenly, every scaling debate from the past decade looks absurdly dated.

While BTC maximalists spent years convincing themselves that 7 transactions per second was a feature, not a bug, BSV just deployed a node client processing one million transactions per second. Not in theory. Not on a whitepaper. Right now, today, verifiable and open source.

The London Blockchain Conference proved this capability over a year ago. Since then, the team has been doing the unglamorous work - handling edge cases, ensuring backward compatibility with SV Node, refining the microservices architecture. This wasn't vaporware. This was engineering.

Three technical distinctions matter most: subtree validation enabling parallel transaction processing, extended transaction formats, and a redesigned P2P network. The P2P protocol is particularly elegant - it doesn't send all transaction data in messages, making it far more efficient.

Here's what matters: Teranode does not change the Bitcoin protocol. The rules for processing transactions and blocks from Satoshi's original 2009 release still apply. It simply abstracts blocks into parts that can be communicated separately between miners while remaining, essentially, normal blocks.

While other chains remain trapped at 3-4 TPS, BSV has entered a new dimension of unbounded scaling. The answer is now always yes. Can blockchain handle this? Yes. Can it handle that? Yes. Billions of IoT devices? Yes.

High-frequency trading, stablecoins, NFTs, game tournaments, AI, VR, AR, social media, bottleneck-free enterprise and government dApps - this is just the beginning. Teranode's real story is just starting.
