Best advice from being online chatty since 1994.
If you REALLY feel compelled to respond to something, type away, tweak, make it epic and cathartic.
Then do NOT post it.
It gives you all the release with none of the drama.
A book by @susancain appears in my life. How? Not sure but I resonate with the title. The intro answers it. My newly deceased husband resonates deeply with it. He had in his therapy office. I now get to journey through his mind and our marriage reading it. Blessings to you Susan.
Ah @ChristinaLauren Just on a brief return to the Tweety to say HOW MUCH I LOVE YOUR BOOKS. Rare is an author(s) where I can't wait to get through their whole catalog. Just finishing Tangled Up In You... not sure which I'll grab next. Write faster than I can read, mmkay? ;)
@naomieppsbest Good interview with Peter. I grew up in the MFT field via my dad/ therapist family friends. Husband graduated '08, me in '13. Glad you have the energy to speak up. It is needed.
@CHSommers Just started your Factual Feminist book... the intro, and gasped, because the only other book that had me go, "woah, that's me!" is yours. I have never used the "F" word for myself as a GenX lifelong liberal, and your intro nailed it. Excited to read the whole book.
@bungarsargon Loved you on @braverangels tonight. You validated my gobsmacking experience listening to a far left famous cable company tonight. Loved your books, too. :) (My dad co-founded BA, so I live this hope.)
@Louise_m_perry Pausing my multi-month break here, to share that your book is an explosion in my head, in the best way possible. I grew up super liberal, but you're making me understand the nonsense I felt, but couldn't articulate. HUGE appreciation!! Love your podcast, too.
I can not imagine how many happy tears are flowing at WSJ for this Evan Gershkovich news. Thinking of you and everyone personally strung out by this @EBernsteinWSJ 🥳
