They need to motivate players to go play seasonal otherwise the raids in both modes will be empty. Perma character is left for newbies and working dads.

At first he was like it's completely separate from the perma character, a fresh start from full zero. But then someone asked and he was like hmm we'll think about it.

@domontovich Навалили инфы, моё почтение! Вопрос: не думали насчёт кросс-прогресса престижей между постоянным и сезонным персонажем? Вот я сейчас 5й престиж получаю и в сезоном персе хотел бы гриндить 6й престиж, а не 1й сезонный. Престижи в сезоне нужны, чтобы пробовать разные модификаторы.

@VeryBadSCAVR @nikgeneburn If it's the boss name then it's probably an odd translation of a Russian word Клин (which literally means a wedge or a spike). In Russian it sounds badass and fits the role of the boss name. But in English I think Spike would fit more. Idk, maybe it not the boss name at all.

@nikgeneburn BTW no one's asked the main question: what will happen to Ref in the seasonal pvp? Will he also be wiped? Otherwise on day one we send gp coins and buy top-tier gear/ammo at Ref LL4.
But if he's wiped, what about the owners of the main character who don't want to wipe/season?

@daltoncolbyray @NoiceGuy_ Yeah, twice this year means: the first wipe in July, the second wipe in December, so the 3rd wipe would be in July 2027. And all previous mentions of the seasonal character were about it wiping like the OG Tarkov (twice a year).

@tarkov The seasonal definitely needs prestige! To start over with new modifiers. Ideally, a cross-progression of prestige with the main character. I will get the 5th prestige now and then start leveling a seasonal character, and my next prestige should be the 6th, not the 1st seasonal.
