@shayrad21 @socfahey EXACTLY.
Why making Kaz asexual and destroy his character completely while representing asexuality in a very wrong way, when we already have our aroace kind Tolya?
@socfahey As an asexual, making Kaz asexual would promote one of two very wrong situations, or both:
1. Asexuality comes from trauma, which is not true;
2. Complete erasure of Kaz's trauma, so Kaz is just asexual and doesn't have traumatic experiences blocking him.
@blossomsreads @ghafaera And, to top that, Tolya is aroace.
They are invalidating his sexuality too. It seems like the actor are the only people here that actually care about portraying the character right
@tellmewhylan As a Wylan kinnie, my best friends always tell me i act like sunshine around them and have a generally cute and soft aesthetic. Most people underestimate me, like they do with Wylan, but i actually can blow things up and fight my way through. And we're traumatized.
@softmaegor I loved this change for them. I couldn't stand the ending with Alina losing her power and ending up with Mal. I always rooted for Queen Alina, and Netflix set my hopes up for what she truly deserves.
@hollandsflicker@reallifewylan Exactly. Netflix has a bad habit of canceling good shows, so i gladly am giving up the show slowburn if it means i won't end up without my Wesper content
@kanthonysbee I immediately realize this is NETFLIX we're talking about. I'm genuinely scared. PLEASE DON'T MAKE US SUFFER LIKE THIS T^T
Kaz reaction would be nice to see, BUT STILL-
@fucksakuatsu Yes. I'm a native italian speaker, and i have a medium pitched voice, more on the high then the low side, but when i switch to English it just completely drops and is so much lower.
