“Having two planets that are both self-sustaining and strong is going to be incredibly important for the long-term survival of civilization”
The real measure of progress is how fast we can build a self-sustaining civilization on Mars
Every increase in Starship launch cadence, every faster turnaround, every improvement in Raptor engines, heat shields, orbital refueling, life support and energy systems moves that timeline forward
The goal is not simply reaching Mars
It is building a civilization there that can survive, grow and continue on its own
Why I think $MarsCoin 4444 has a better chance of winning this battle:
First — Elon Musk.
What looks like the biggest advantage of stock-paired MarsCoins today may ultimately become their biggest liability
SpaceX is Elon’s company and an extremely valuable corporate brand. Stock-paired Mars coins are third-party memecoins that build part of their value proposition around a SpaceX-linked asset: trading taxes are used to distribute rewards to holders.
That can create an uncomfortable situation for Elon.
If he publicly interacts with such a coin, the market could interpret it as an endorsement of a financial product using a SpaceX-linked asset and paying rewards to holders.
4444 doesn’t have this problem.
It doesn’t try to financially attach itself to SpaceX. It can exist alongside the SpaceX/Mars narrative without making SpaceX part of its tokenomics.
It’s simply MarsCoin.
4444 doesn’t tell Elon or CZ what MarsCoin has to become. It’s a blank canvas.
Because this battle isn’t really about the utility of a particular token. It’s about ownership of the Mars narrative. And the less baggage the asset carries, the easier it is for major players to give it their own meaning.
If Elon ever decides to publicly pay attention to one of them, I think this makes 4444 much more Elon-compatible.
Second — Binance.
Yes, Binance has created infrastructure that allows tax/reward tokens to work within its ecosystem.
But in my view, this doesn’t necessarily bring these tokens closer to Binance Spot. It may actually do the opposite.
Binance needed infrastructure capable of handling these unusual tokenomics. Now it has it.
Spot is no longer the only path to Binance distribution for these tokens.
Binance Alpha allows them to trade while their tax and reward mechanics continue to function, while Binance CEX users already have access to this onchain market.
That reduces the need for a Spot listing.
Of course, Spot still has one massive advantage: the listing event itself.
The announcement, attention, liquidity and exposure that come with a Binance Spot listing are a different game.
And if Binance ever wants a clean, pure MarsCoin on Spot, 4444 is structurally the much simpler candidate.
And then there is CZ.
CZ controls 70% of the supply.
So how do you build a holder base made up of the most loyal, high-conviction people before the crowd arrives?
You don’t make the first signal obvious.
You make a small gesture.
Burn 4,444 coins and explain nothing.
Only the people paying the closest attention notice — the ones looking for signs and tiny details that almost everyone else ignores.
The ambiguity itself becomes a conviction filter.
Those people keep accumulating.
Another 15–20% of the supply can move into high-conviction hands.
Then comes a second, slightly more obvious signal.
I expect it soon.
The believers are joined by people willing to build.
Then everyone else follows.
And by the time the crowd finally understands the story, maybe only ~10% of the supply is left for them to fight over.
A coin with that kind of supply structure becomes much easier to move.
And CZ needs a massive story.
Not another random BNB meme.
The goal is bigger.
Become bigger than DOGE. Become the king of memes.
And for something that ambitious, Mars is one of the few narratives big enough.
If Elon + CZ ever truly intersect around the idea of MarsCoin, 4444 looks like the better neutral ground between them.
It is not SpaceXCoin.
It is not CZCoin.
It is simply MarsCoin.
And maybe that’s exactly why it has the best chance to become the MarsCoin.
