This week is a rollercoaster. Like you can have all the self care like that wildly overdue haircut and a fancy beanbag chair BUT ALSO your bathroom is flooded and tiny hell creatures are floating up from the deep—hope you didn’t want to use the water in your house any time soon.

@rapscallison I also highly recommend BEFORE AND AFTER THE BOOK DEAL by Courtney Maum for this, and there are some really great podcasts like “Print Run” and “The Shit No One Tells You About Writing” that talk about the industry at large to varying degrees.
