Over the past year, we've continued to learn a lot about Multiplayer matchmaking through player data and community feedback. We’re also excited to see all the recent love for Black Ops and Black Ops II, which reinforced that there are many elements of those experiences that players appreciate.

Starting this week with Season 05, we're updating Black Ops Classic, Quick Play, and Party Games in Black Ops 7 with a new matchmaking system inspired by those classic games.

We'll continue to offer Open playlists in Black Ops 7, and we'll also include Open playlist options in the upcoming Modern Warfare 4 Beta. Thanks for your continued feedback as we stay focused on player experiences that go beyond expectations. Jump in and let us know what you think.

Genuinely in shock, I can’t believe they are finally removing skill based matchmaking and putting it back to classic Call of Duty matchmaking

The original Black Ops and Black Ops II are now available on PS4 and PS5, ported by @IronGalaxy.

Hey @asha_shar, it’s wonderful news that Black Ops 1 and 2 are coming to PS4 and PS5, however Xbox owners are getting left behind here with no communication.

The Xbox 360 servers are hacked to death so nobody plays old multiplayer cods there. It would be amazing if those servers could be upgraded to Xbox One servers to help with this problem.

The Treyarch tweet about these ports was their most liked EVER. There is real interest in being able to boot up a modern day console and play older COD games online without security risks or cheaters in every lobby, I personally had all my original MW2 stats deleted by a hacker when I tried to play it last on Xbox.

Since Xbox owns Call of Duty as a whole, it would at least be worth communicating to your players what’s going on and why PS users get this kind of an update while the franchise you OWN is still unplayable on your own platforms.

I’d be lying if I said this doesn’t feel like a slap in the face to loyal xbox fans. Happy it’s coming to other platforms in a playable form, unhappy the actually company that owns the entire franchise is the one that will be outdated after this.

@Fumez Brands label everything under “marketing” but my title is social media management, I’d YouTube for sure is the easiest with YouTube shorts (which I assume you do to pull those views) I’d say YouTube is probably the most flexible for post times, but the other points you made from

@Fumez examples: (Insta being the hardest to grow on) Ive tested posting for weeks straight at certain times, each one of these videos were from posting at 5pm pst. YouTube’s best times were 3pm-5pm. TikTok 7pm. Also aligns when some of the biggest creators on each platform post too 👍

@Fumez Social media management & I film / edit the content. Occasionally will post required marketing. I’ve tested through TikTok, Instagram and YouTube with daily uploading. Instagram CEO said the same thing, but posting at a certain time got me millions of views from each platform.
