I'm sure you'll remember the song - Knock Three Times! It was one of a string of hits had by Tony Orlando and Dawn.

Dawn, the original name of the group, wasn't initially meant to be a group. It was accidental. Tony Orlando was actually working as a publishing executive for at CBS/Columbia Records who only sang on the side. In 1970, he recorded a demo for the song "Candida" under the fake group name "Dawn" to protect his executive job from conflict-of-interest issues. When the song became a hit, Orlando was pressured to leave his corporate job, find some backing singers and go on tour! Session vocalists Telma Hopkins and Joyce Vincent Wilson were recruited and Dawn, later called Tony Orlando and Dawn, was formed. Candida didn't initially feature Hopkins and Wilson as backing vocalists, those would come later on their follow up hit - Knock Three Times.

Like many successful and attractive looking musicians of that era, they also starred in a variety show. The Tony Orlando and Dawn Show, aired from 1974 to 1976.

Karens & resellers raiding Five Below like it’s Black Friday for $2 squishies… while shoving actual KIDS out of the way so other people’s children get NOTHING on their last day of school.

Others are begging grown adults to leave some for the kids. This is peak entitled behavior — me first, screw everyone else, especially the next generation.
