A very beautiful lady followed me on X today, and when I decided to view her profile, I noticed that she has engaged a good number of my posts.

She just followed me, and started engaging. Trust me, I'm a good guy.

I started retuned the energy. Gave her a follow back, and engaged her tweets too.

Growth is sweet when it's not conditional. She didn't have to wait for me to follow back before she started engaging. She didn't unfollow me after engaging some of my tweets and got nothing in return.

And I've been thinking about how easy it is to focus on what hasn't happened yet.

I went on a date with a girl from my church today. She had two conditions before she agreed: she picks the location and we leave before 7pm. I agreed.

I called a bike to pick her up instead of bringing my car.

The moment she saw me at her gate, her first question was "where is your car?" Her mood never recovered from that point. The entire date was her complaining that the okada ride ruined her outfit and her wig does not like breeze.

After we finished eating, she asked me to pay for her ride back since I did not come with my car.

I stopped a bike, negotiated the price, paid, collected my change from the bike man and blocked her before the bike man rode out of sight.
