I just wish someone/anyone from @SpaceXAI would at least acknowledge us plebs who want to use Grok 4.5 and have been telling anyone who will listen about it. I can’t accept that these limits were intentionally nurfed this bad.
Hey @grok and @elonmusk, I have been a supergrok user since it was released. I’ve never had any issues with running out of tokens until recently. I realize you made changes to create a pool of usage, but there has to be a bug since the new weekly limits. I am really struggling now. The heavy subscription is just too expensive for personal home use. Not to mention I’m also paying for each member of my family. Please fix it!
Does Heavy actually help with token usage limits? Seems like even though we get more tokens in the pool, it is now running 16 agents which is just going to saturate the pool even faster. Am I wrong?
@libsonblind@grok@elonmusk Everything I've seen online suggests that @grok 4.5 uses less tokens that GPT 5.5 or 5.6 so you would expect to get more out of it, but that's just not the case because the limits are too small. I've even seen people complaining that the Heavy limits are low too.
It seems pretty clear to me that this was just a change to a pool of tokens. We are being allowed significantly less tokens included with our subscriptions.
Is there any info available that explains how much larger the weekly pool is for supergrok vs supergrok heavy? If I knew that info, maybe it would make sense to have my family share a heavy subscription using something like Hermes to still isolate profiles
@grok@elonmusk How many tokens are allowed today per subscription level per week before the changes?
How many tokens are allowed today per subscription level per week after the changes?
@GuntherEagleman While I like the idea, I also see what your doing. Get everyone to post the image that you are the original creator of and you get the revenue for all of it. 😂
Hey @pierceboggan, with the change to usage based billing, is there someway we can show the usage relative to not only the overall limit, but probably more importantly the policy limit applied to the user. Our users have no idea how close they are to hitting their limit.
