Huge connection between visual literacy and traditional literacy. Art talks are a great way to strengthen comprehension. #TCS #artintegration#projectbasedlearning#criticalthinkingskills
Love this Winslow Homer image “The Fog Warning” for Artful Thinking routines. I have had success using it from K-5!#TCS#Projectbasedlearning#visualthinking#artintegration
My messy scribbles trying to keep up with the amazing conversation and thoughts these kiddos had around this article. I feel a powerful project unfolding!#PBL I can’t wait to see what they get up to.
Great people, great books, great ideas and great energy at Inquiry Project Collaborative here at TCS! It was a joy to share in this experience with these individuals. I can’t wait to see you all blaze new trails on your path.
"The more I think about it my biggest takeaway is that every teacher needs a "study group" - a place to collaboratively explore, learn, and share their professional journey." via @VinceDT#pzc2018
This book must be great because I can’t even get past the forward. When you have highlighted, posted and written notes in the first paragraphs of a book I take this as a sign of brain expansion coming!
Yes, teachers work in the summer but...it doesn’t always feel like work! Wanted to sleep in but my brain couldn’t get past all of the awesome books waiting for me.
I have been inspired and lifted up by so many amazing coworkers over the years. What a great feeling to have the opportunity to share in this good work with others.
