MFD presented the colors for this year’s Marshfield girl’s softball annual tournament. The first pitch was thrown by Marshfield’s own Ellie (aka Super Ellie) who is bravely fighting cancer. We were very happy to be a part of it all. Stay strong Super Ellie!

Boston Medflight will be landing at the baseball field next to Martinson Elementary School. There is no emergency, this is part of the joint training between MFD and @Marshfield_PD

At 3:30 this morning, group 4 responded mutual aid to the town of Norwell to assist with their working fire. Engine 2, Service Truck 4, and Car 2 responded and assisted obtaining a sustainable water supply to extinguish the fire.

Over the years, The Marshfield Fire Department has responded to countless ice-related emergencies. Today, Group 2 took advantage of the cold temperatures and deployed the ‘Ice Sled’ to simulate a rapid rescue of someone who fell through the ice.

This morning Marshfield Fire Department Group 2 conducted training revolutions simulating chimney fires. With several weeks of winter ahead and hazardous weather rolling in, we’re committed to keeping these skills sharp to keep our community safe. #FireTraining #Firefighting
