Joker lost his Batman. Megatron lost his Optimus Prime. But the rivalries they built together will live on for generations ❤️

For generations, Kevin Conroy’s Batman and Mark Hamill’s Joker sounded inseparable. Conroy became the defining animated voice of Batman beginning with Batman: The Animated Series in 1992, and after his death in 2022, Hamill said returning as Joker no longer felt the same without him.

Then there was Peter Cullen’s Optimus Prime and Frank Welker’s Megatron, two voices locked in battle since the original Transformers series in 1984. Cullen passed away at 85 on August 26, 2026, ending a run as Optimus that lasted more than four decades. The Washington Post
The villains remain.

The heroes are gone. But somewhere in our memories, Batman is still answering the Joker, and Optimus Prime is still standing against Megatron 🫡

During early negotiations for Avengers: Age of Ultron, Disney threatened to recast Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth after they demanded fair pay matching the first film's success.

Robert Downey Jr. walked into the executive suite, sat down, and threatened to permanently quit the MCU on the spot if his co-stars weren't given their asking price. He didn't take a single dollar extra for himself that contract-and he told Evans and Hemsworth to thank their agents, never taking credit.
