It's so cute when they think about their tiny little siblings being tiny and little (since Tanjiro is barely a year older than Nezuko, he's tiny and little himself in that memory (and also 13 years old in this panel))

The artist... Kamado Tanjiro, clumsily painted himself alonside his koinobori, yet he is still full of joy and whimsy.

It says a lot about Tanjiro that when complimented, he'd rather brag about his cool dad than take the compliment himself. That second sentence is probably a direct quote from Tanjuro, too

Today I'm here to mourn the loss of Tanjiro's chubby cheeks and gigantic forehead (he's adorable in both versions though)

The anime actually removed many smaller character design quirks. Probably to make consistent animation easier

Him wrapping his scarf around his head to deal with the overwhelming crowded streets is really precious.

This is just a headcanon, but since he had the same scarf when little, I like to think his grandma knitted it for him

"Being bitten on the head feels strange and most people make this face" implies that Tanjiro has done it often enough that he knows what the most common reaction is. Maybe he's a dog after all
