@gw_emily@Psychgirl211 ‘What is deemed supremely unhealthy’ by your estimation? I think it’s supremely unhealthy to be obsessed with strangers bodies so I guess it’s my responsibility to tell you to knock it off?
@Livefromreality@Psychgirl211 That’s true, I found it unnatural that a grown up is ‘deeply upset’ by the choices of a complete stranger and came for a looksie.
@angelaira@Psychgirl211 So is it deeply upsetting or entertainment? Choose a lane and stick with it, you can’t hop from concern to amusement and back as they’re incompatible positions.
@KerrieG57507105 @Aja02537920 Again, ‘unfriendliness’ is being used as a part of the definition for ‘hostility’. It is not saying that ‘hostility’ and ‘unfriendliness’ are direct synonyms and it is not saying hostility is inherently a hate crime. This is not difficult to understand, it is basic comprehension.
@KerrieG57507105 @Aja02537920 It’s defining ‘hostility’ in that passage, and includes ‘unfriendliness’ in that definition. It’s not saying that ‘unfriendliness’ counts as a hate crime. This is basic reading comprehension, primary school stuff.
@TheFamousArtBR What an eloquent series of messages. From what I can read, this dude cares a lot about the people in his scene. Having a responsibility to protect your audience from persecution, punching up to power… UK music and art mindset seems to be doing alright!
@_CryMiaRiver@wanderlost_nic No, I’m about to point out that his work was barely preserved in his lifetime. If Shakespeare wasn’t deemed worthy of recording, what chance did the writings of your average person?
@wanderlost_nic@_CryMiaRiver It was you who replied to me! If you’re going to give people responses that are that easy to refute you should probably get used to it.
@wanderlost_nic@_CryMiaRiver Of course, medieval peasants should have used their ample free time and high literacy rate to record their experiences which would have been actively preserved for centuries.
