PMA Graduates Gather for Alumni Homecoming 2026

Graduates of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA), from active-duty officers to retired Cavaliers, gathered at the Borromeo Field, Fort Del Pilar, Baguio City on February 21 for the PMA Alumni Homecoming 2026, reaffirming their enduring bond, shared traditions, and unwavering commitment to honor and service to the nation.

Among those in attendance was Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Romeo S. Brawner Jr., a member of PMA “Makatao” Class of 1989, who joined fellow alumni in celebrating the Academy’s legacy of producing principled and dedicated military leaders. His presence underscored the continued connection between the AFP leadership and the institution that shaped generations of officers.

With the theme “PMA @ 127: Forging Leaders of Character while Transforming into a Globally Competitive Defense Learning Institution,” the homecoming brought together approximately 4,200 participants, including 1,741 alumni from across generations. Vice Admiral Caesar Bernard N. Valencia PN, Superintendent of the PMA, welcomed the distinguished guests and emphasized the Academy’s vital role in developing competent and ethical leaders in service of the country.

Senator Panfilo “Ping” M. Lacson, President Pro Tempore of the Senate and a member of PMA “Matatag” Class of 1971, served as Guest of Honor and Speaker and administered the oath-taking of the incoming Board of Trustees of the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association, Inc. (PMAAAI). The ceremony also featured the awarding of Lifetime Achievement Awards and Cavalier Awards, and the donning of medallions to jubilarians from Diamond Jubilarians Class of 1966, Golden Jubilarians Class of 1976, and Silver Jubilarians Class of 2001.

The AFP recognizes the PMA Alumni Homecoming as a meaningful tradition that strengthens camaraderie, honors the legacy of its graduates, and reinforces the core values of honor, integrity, and patriotism in service to the Filipino people.///
