Day 8, no bag. I drove to Queenstown Airport because no one would help by phone. Learned my bag never left Auckland and my case was closed incorrectly. New file ID: AKLAA13620.
No call. No accountability. I leave for Australia in 2 days.

@AmericanAir 6 days without luggage on an international trip (SEA–LAX–AKL). AA removed my bag from a confirmed flight and failed to place it on the next daily flight. No callbacks, no follow-through, nonstop misinformation. Total Mis-management. Unacceptable. File AKLAA40439627.

@AmericanAir Still haven't heard anything from AA???? Will my bag arrive to my hotel in Queenstown tonight? I can't believe that AA has never provided me any updates over six days (except today on X) this entire time. Hours spent on hold, begging for updates! Worst service. Status??
