@Woodborg_Ninja @FoldableHuman This was 'Absolute Virtue'. There were two infamous bosses in XI, AV and Pandemonium Warden. As best I can tell, the original developers at the time really did intend for these boss fights to just last for 6+ hours, and they patched out ways to kill AV faster.
