All joking aside, you have no idea the issues caused in Scotland last season because some people thought it was unfair that this same rule applied to Celtic ๐
Historically speaking there was little that was English about the crusades. They were a pan-European call to arms by the papacy. This is ironic as I quite often hear England fans sing "fuck the pope and the IRA"!
Setting aside the superimposed face of Donald Trump on the image of Bobby Moore lifting the World Cup, can we take a minute to discuss England fans dressing up as crusader knights and how embarrassing it is? It screams of a country desperately searching for an identity.
@DazMac91 What's English about the crusades? In fact, if you read the history you'll find it was a pan-European affair in which the Kingdom of England played a minimal role. Also St George wasn't English. Therefore, what is it you actually celebrate that is, well, English?
That guy with 'Freedom 76' shirt sums up why the world finds American exceptionalism so bizarre. Imagine acting like you own the concept of freedom all the while drowning in medical debt and being micromanaged by HOAs.
This is brutal stuff for the USA. Brutal chant and even though Iโve only been a soccer guy for 7 minutes I know this is a poor knockoff from the Netherlands
So says a lawyer with no emotional resonance with the beautiful game. To quote the legendary Bill Hicks: "corporate fucking shill, you're just another whore at the capitalist gangbang".
I find soccer purists weird. Every sport, as it gets popular, makes adjustments to accommodate television coverage. Yes, the phony cover story of "hydration" is a bit silly, but healthy sports allow television networks to make more money so they can make more money!
He's totally oblivious to the fact that he is part of the problem with modern football that has led to a hyper commercialised World Cup. I genuinely despise these types who support players instead of teams.
@DarRamesnis Late 90s early 2000s Lithuania actually produced some decent players. Off the top of my head I can name: Edgaras Jankauskas and Deividas Semberas, Marius Stankevicius. The first two listed won a Champions League and UEFA Cup, respectively. So what happened since that period?
Is Michael Nicholson taking a pay cut? Because he is the one useless bastard at Celtic who should see his salary reduced to minimum wage. A guy hated by the supporters being accommodated but fan favourites being told to take pay cuts. Get fucked.
Happy to spend a fortune on duds over the last few transfer windows, happy to pay off Nancy and his full backroom team after a month yet canโt find the money to give decent contracts to the team behind OโNeill that helped us win a double, the Celtic board are enemies of Celtic.
Not looking forward to Ireland getting the rotating E.U council presidency. I guess it will be 6 months of pointless holier than thou yapping about peace and how misunderstood Putin supposedly is. At least Lithuania gets the presidency after them.
'He's a delusional dictator who's lost touch with reality': Insiders reveal how FIFA boss Gianni Infantino went from 'pleasant and unassuming' to a 'greedy narcissist' with 'zero empathy' so drunk on power he is destroying our game https://t.co/iXVVUBXK56
If true, and I highly suspect it is despite coming out of Donald Trump's mouth. This furthers the case that Infantino should be voted out at the next FIFA Congress in 2027. Can CAF and AFC seriously continue to back this man! Seriously he makes me nostalgic for Blatter.
