Situation shifts both curves and inflation might stabilize higher or lower. Bottom line is, the picture is more complex than you think.

@AlbertaLeonidas @PierrePoilievre @MRolly19 Doesn't matter what I do for a living, but let me school you on a bit of economics. Population growth and inflation aren't as tightly connected as you think: inflation was higher in the 1980's while Canada had a smaller population.

@KatKanada_TM @PierrePoilievre Yes it can. Immigration has very little to do with the housing mess Canada's in. You're basically trying to fix a supply issue by lowering the demand. Lowering immigration won't solve those extra "gatekeeping" housing costs, or lower interest rates
