The Indiana slaughter of the Senate recalcitrants was on par with the 1994 Contract With America and the 2010 Tea Party Movement. Campaign of a lifetime from the WH, Jim Banks, TPUSA, AFP, and Club for Growth.

As tempting as it would be to put the final nail in the coffin of the Bayh political dynasty, I have more work to do in the Indiana House.
My friend Max Engling is an America First patriot, and he will make an outstanding Secretary of State. He has my full support at the convention.

@ErinSheridan74 The Governor failed. The President Pro Tem actively worked against redistricting, and then supported candidates who did the same. Unsuccessful versus undermining. No room for here for the latter.
"The old adage is if you’re going to go after the king, you better not miss, and he missed," Sweet said. "No one’s going to want to carry water for him, so if he would just resign, he would save the Hoosier State a lot of grief."

@ErinSheridan74 The Governor did not deliver on redistricting either. Ultimately the WH, Sen Banks, TPUSA, and Club for Growth ran the political operation of a generation (or at least since the Tea Party & Contract with America) and ran the intransigents out.
@ErinSheridan74 He thought he knew where Hoosiers were. He did not (he missed). He should have listened to the President. He needs to step down precisely we need to get many things done - and he will be a liability with regard to anything to do with Washington, DC.
@sgc3168 Good question. There isn’t great evidence of strategic voting in Indiana. To test it we would want individual voter files - seeing who voted for example in the 2024 D primary but then voted in the 2026 R primary. Would then want to control for change in party ID of the voter.
"The reality of it is, the future of the Republican Party is Donald Trump, [U.S. Sen.] Jim Banks and [Attorney General] Todd Rokita," he said. "That’s where the Senate is going. And that’s why I think Bray has to go."
