@TeamGB @TGcoys I was in a flood lit athletics meet with Mary at the Eton Manor track ( next to where the 2012 London Olympic site was built). I was running the boys 800 and competed in the long jump but that's where the association ends...didn't stop for an autograph!

We attended a Mini-Basketball Jamboree in Sable sur Sarthe. Around the town we used superb community facilities

Almost every village or town in France has a public use swimming pool and leisure club. This is funded by the community from local taxation. Please retweet if you think that we should do the same in the UK.

Kevin was a longstanding Mini-Basketball player, Basketball player & National coach. It runs in the family because Mum & Dad with sister Nicola were also heavily involved.

@Nsport Great to see those basketball skills in action..always try and dribble without looking at the ball..with passing against a wall try and pass by bringinging the ball upto the chest rather than using an underarm pass...keep it up!

It also led to exciting European adventures with the annual European Mini-Basketball Jamborees. Great times!

@ChronandEcho With the photo supplied with Chronicle & Echo article surely end to end seating on a standard school class table doesn't provide the necessary social distance. The children will also be sitting face to face.

@CoachVear @TGcoys Another thought now MBE is moving towards convergence...will there be a specific BE unit or qualification appropriate for coaches working with children?
The level 2 coach award is totally inappropriate but is the certificate that allows coaches to work on their own in schools.

@TGcoys @CoachVear Just working on final convergence with Basketball England. We hope Mini-Basketball flourishes when our NGB takes full responsibility. They promise to do a good job with continued development which includes teacher & coach education
