@williamnhutton Thank you! Clearly put. I note from today’s Any Questions that the Brexiteers are trying say Remainers are Blaming those who voted to leave. No we aren’t. We are blaming the pedlars of lies that influenced the vote. There is a big difference….
The more I reflect , the more I think we should push back against the outrageous bullying of the Brexiters. It’s failed. Democracies change their minds. We need Europe. Europe needs us. It matters that the Brexit case was built on lies by a man banned from the Commons for lying.
Fresh food shortages? Spanish weather?? You cannot solve a problem unless you admit what it is….. Brexit!! Maybe a variety of Turnip will be named The Coffey….
@hilarybennmp Excellent summary of the damage Brexit has done and continues to do. It is time this was pointed out more vociferously. A shame Labour is os keen to avoid the topic. Making Brexit work in its current form is a pipe dream. Unscrambling eggs would be easier…….
@johnredwood A pyrrhic victory at best. We don’t have a fishing fleet and the main market was in Europe…… now closed to us. Fish and shellfish businesses destroyed at a stroke. Utterly brilliant…..!!
I've shared 'The B-word is verboten for cowardly Labour and Tories' with you from The Independent Daily Edition
Good sense and not before time. How much more damage has to be done…. https://t.co/hooSLdQYr7
@CarolineLucas Completely agree. This decision not only proves the government really doesn’t get it, but they are utterly cynical. There is not need for this mine. Cleaner alternatives exist that actually advance technology. What next? Steam locomotives?
