@TheAnfieldWrap At 2-1 down after a slip, the sensible approach was to get on the ball, build and try to get a good point away to secure CL...we brought Chiesa on at RB and Wirtz for our No6 leaving us so exposed. Horrendous
@Corballyred Decent player that looked like he had the tools to be great....he didn't and he wasn't. Unfortunately miles off the level needed hence not starting 50% of games...
@LFCLaurie It's all relative. Comparing a 17 year old footballer to Joe Public is pointless. 3 or 4 yrs later, the message is "give him what he wants". Football is changing but careers remain short. If they're good enough to train and be selected for 1st team squads then £52k is laughable
@Corballyred Try to think how your post contains the answer to your rage. Start the only player we have that is effective at changing the pattern and tempo of a tough game from the bench
@StanCollymore Spurs are on same points this season as they were at this stage last season under 2 very different managers . 2 places better off due to poorer bottom 5 but perhaps this is just the level of their squad. Injuries to half the team again too. There is more too it than Frank.
@FabrizioRomano Ramsay has become the odd symbol of some people's views on Slot. The lad has barely kicked a ball at any level in 4 years...playing senior players like szobo, Jones and Endo is perfectly understandable. People Acting like he's a wonderkid, multiple managers disagree
@TouchlineX City do not attract TV audiences or legitimate sponsor. Great team but not a big club. If they were relegated, the Premier League could make more money from a documentary than from the few thousand fans that pay to watch them
@Corballyred@FabrizioRomano How is it that people dont understand how deals like this come about. Villa couldn't stay within psr if they bought him so the deal was structured in their favour to enable them to sign a player they couldnt afford. They backtracked. Others will think twice dealing with them
@YazzLFC He hasn't been sent back to his club. We've agreed to buy him in summer. Rennes did not want to sell in Jan and we are confident he will improve the squad long term so tie up a deal we may not be able to do come summer depending on CL football. Makes alot of sense
@BelieveInKlopp Deal structured this way to benefit Villa re PSR/FFP...they then decide not to play him to avoid buying him and ask Liverpool to renegotiate. Other clubs will think twice about dealing with them in the future.
