@LucyGriff76 Also, buying a calendar and ticking off the days that have exercise (any form of exercise for any duration) creates an event chain. Once you have 3 or 4 ticks in a row, you don't want to break the chain by missing a day.
@LucyGriff76 Reading this book is a great starting point. Defining success differently has helped me - rather than having to complete a certain amount of miles etc, I frame it as a win if I get my trainers on & start regardless of how the exercise goes. This reduces my anxiety about training.
