@WorldOverLive @EWTN All due respect to the good bishop, I think the TLMs appeal to the young is grossly exaggerated. I started the youth group at the TLM parish in SF. It has a good following. But it’s small compared to the more inclusive and less politically divisive Dominican parish a mile away.

@TaylorRMarshall It's a challenging question. Pragmatically, it makes sense. St. Augustine was a bishop for sure, but his diocese was the size of a large American parish. The problem is filling that gap between the bishop of Rome and the rest of the bishops without compromising eclesiology.

@LaneAndrew4 @dianemontagna In sorry I just don’t see it that way. Vatican I and Vatican II —- Humanae Vitae! all caused a lot of confusion in the church. I think that whether something causes confusion or wrecks feelings of peace is not a very good barometer for this kind of thing.
